Cannot install

OK, I get past all the difficult stuff and load install.php. It asks me for my admin username and password, but when I get passed to admin/index.php it doesn't recognise my username or password. I've repeated this over and over again. Any help with this would be appreciated.

How do you put a domain in multiple categories?

In the demo site..

What I have done was again re listed the same domain and put it in another category, but it only counted as an additional to the category. When you click that category the domain does not show.

I made a particular folder and found out that if you add a domain on a hidden mode and you added it to that category it counted it as one and of course the category will show but when you click it nothing will show because it is hidden.

Also in the domain summary page a contact/offer/buy now inputs or buttons could be nice.

As per others who requested it also the price option..

What happened to the new release version.. It has been close to five months since you posted it.

When I click the domain in the home page, the details of the domain does not work. But notice me "A problem with your request has occured". As well as contact us page. How can I solve this problem?

Hello,

I was looking for a software to help me manage my domains (know what I own, decide what to do with it: renew or not...).

Your software is interesting (even if it's more focused on selling domains)... while for the time being, I'm unable to get any expiry date inserted (after a bulk insert).

As a side note, I do have in my bulk list the current expiry date... a shame I could not provide it.

Back to my question: how to troubleshoot Cron/whois steps?

I've looked into the code, I could not find debug points.

Sometimes when I call up the program, it get very slow response time. When I tried to see if I could figure out what was going on, I used my MySQL Monitor script. This is the message that I get:

SQL execution error # 1226. Response from the database:

User 'USER' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: 10)

Is there a way to turn on some debugging so I can try to track down why the program seems to be making so many connections.

hi,

currently when i activated who-is-online plugin it showed the avatars of the users logged in.
But i want to show the username and user nicename in place of the avatars. Also i want to show a green image side of the logged in users.

How can i do that ?

Localisation patch

I'm a new user of Who-Is-Online plugin.
But when I try to internationalize the plugin, it was broken.

You where'nt using the "textdomain" parameter as discribe in the documentation.

So I've made a patch to use this.

While managing my own domain names I came across a silly bug in the admin panel. When selecting multiple domain names which of course adds them to a list below the domain list. If you delete 1 of these domains the list would not correspond to the actual list selected.

I have now fixed this issue.

As well as the above issue I have also ensured that the javascript works with internet explorer. I found that there were a few problems when using internet explorer. This was partly caused by internet explorer not supporting a method that is part of the havascript standard.

Simply extract the attached file and upload the folder. The folders only contain 1 file but the sctructure has been maintained so that it will upload to the correct location.

If you find any bugs please let me know. This updated javascript will be a part of the next release that I am currently working on.

Wrong Whois Server for COMs

This is a great script but there is a huge problem with it. In the whois server list you have whois.opensrs.net for COMs. It is a former service of Tucows. Without saying what I think about Tucows (children might read this) I will only say that the server is not functioning for a long time now.

Is there an alternative? This list really needs updating. Do you have any suggestions? I will also look for an available Captcha-free server and let you know if I find something.

Missing contact pages

I have installed it ok except I think I have missed a step.

'Admin' and 'Homepage' are working ok. Missing 'Contact Page' and 'Domain Pages' clicks to a 404 page

Expiring domains issue.

While managing my own domain names something has come to light with the portfolio manager.

The program automatically updates expiry dates and checks domain that are expiring soon. When a domain is expiring it is highlighted in the admin panel to warn you that this is happening. 1 thing that I have found however is that registrars tend to renew the domain again for x amount of time but change the nameservers too their own.

The main problem this has is that the script cannot tell when a domain has been renewed or if the registrar has auto renewed the domain name prior to putting this into redemption.

The following is an example of this type of issue:

This domain was not renewed by myself and as you can see the nameservers are now Enom's. I am looking at ways to address this issue to ensure that domains were in fact renewed and not a case that the registrar auto renewed them.

Seems a shame to have this feature missing from this great little piece of software.

Auto Fetch domain status would be another, but not as important.

whois_server_list.xml empty

Hi,

After I click update whois servers, the whois_server_list.xml is emptied. No expiry dates are retrieved. I have one .com and one .org domain entered.

Do you know how to fix this?

Deleting Domains

Perhaps I'm missing it, but I don't see a way to delete domains from the database. I see that I can hide them though and will do that for now for domains that I have sold.
